Need advices for my wordpress website

Hello guys,

I made a website with wordpress about tech niche and i'm going to launch it tomorrow maybe, the content is original written by me (about 130 articles until now), i need to know how to protect my articles from getting copied, do i even have to care about this or maybe google spiders will do the job by spotting the duplicate content?

I've also noticed some wired traffic coming mostly from Ukraine/Russia/India (even with the site still under construction), they are visitors trying to access some sensitive links of the server (like wp-content/plugins..), would it be wise to ban these countries since they're full hackers and their traffic isn't worthy?

Any other advice? it's my first website :)

If someone copy your articles then you don't need to worry about as search engine will penalize them in near future. Though you can set up a copyright protection declaring page in your website and also you can use a Copyscape banner there. And regarding the visits, I too get these and earlier I was worried but now I don't care about them. If they make any comment then just mark them as SPAM. Also you can use good plugin in wordpress which helps to block spam comments. By the way, I am from India and I am not a hacker so don't just blame a country this way.
 
You need to build domain reputation. If another more reputable domain copies your content and it's spidered before yours, you lose.

It seems you are very new to build a wordpress site.

To make your website as well-known sites.

You also need to have a fan site.

You can add a twitter, and begin to advertise them.

Normally a balance of $ 50 for all ads.

That will help drive quality traffic.
So that your site indexed faster than your competitor's site.

Or buy some backlinks for a website posting the acceleration index
 
There are plugins for that, but as the most said here build an authority website, than you dont have to care about others!
 
Just certified with DMCA and get the plugin content protector.
 
There are plugins available that ban ips.
They will contain complete country ip ranges to block
China is notorious as are many eastern european sites
It is a good investment and they dont cost much expecially if the site is important to you
 
You can use cloudflare. It will take care of the abusive traffic for you free of cost.
 
I tried Cloudflare but changing the DNS is a bit complicated, i won't risk my website for that.
I already made fb/twitter and google+, getting little traffic (like 10 visits a day) mostly from europe/usa, that's the traffic i want :D
Also my adsence application was accepted after 1 day but still early for ads ^^.
For now i need to pump good articles and share them on social networks, maybe submitting a link in reddit will help?
 
Google knows and understands the originated content and the copied content, So you will not get penalized at any cost.
Traffic with organic link building increases your keyword rankings. but be aware of hack!
