Need Advice...

Hi everyone!
I am currently working on making an Amazon affiliate site.
I am making it a blog style review site that targets a nitche I chose, and not relying on SEO to start out with but trying to get traffic through social media and forums (by answering questions and linking to my site in a non-spammy way)
Later on the plan is to start to write articles targeting long term keywords and hopefully using organic traffic to get some decent rankings.
I am very new to all of this and any advice would be welcome. My question is this: I am having trouble getting enough traffic to my site to make any conversions. Are there any good tools to use to make it eaiser to find forum post etc. or good ways to reach as many people as possible without focusing on SEO?

Advice would be to learn what affiliate means.

Without use of an insanely large social media account, traffic without SEO is near impossible to get decent buyers.

And I'm confused about what the actual site is, can you explain better?

Writing content is only half of content marketing.
Research and target long tail keywords

It’s all about you. Content marketing should not be exclusively about your business, your products, your awesome sauce, and your employees. If you want your blog to not die, you may need to make some improvements. The reasons your blog may not be getting any traffic are pretty simple. Thankfully, the solutions are relatively simple, too.

Keep in mind that traffic may be slow in coming. Content marketing isn’t a sprint; it’s a marathon. If traffic doesn’t spike overnight, don’t be dismayed.

Be patient. Give it a few months; things will improve. If not, read this article again.
