Need Advice

Looking at a few themes for my niche website. The website is a somewhat travel niche but much more specific. I've seen a lot of people mention that it seems best to have the homepage be a sort of magazine/blog style with many articles which readers can just hit 'read more' to view the full article. Therefore, i'm thinking maybe going with the 2014 theme. What are your opinions on this type of choice for my niche site as well as the themes? Thanks!

I normally base it on what is most important to show visitors on homepage, how easy a theme is to navigate in general, the look of the theme, how well it works on mobile and the comparability with plugins (for example always visual composer is necessity for me).

Would you say that the 2014 theme is a good theme for what i am looking for ?

Test it and see if it satisfies you first. Then ask, sorry, request some pro to see the site and take his opinion. How can someone who doesn't know your site tell you confidently what theme is best suited?

If you ask me, show it to David or some other member like him, but ask his permission first and see if he has time and really wants to see it. Respect his opinion because he is a very trusted member and of course a thorough pro.

But to get their opinion, make sure your site is quality and deserves a look into it by a pro.
