Need Advice

Hi everyone,
I need some advice I've purchased a domain and hosting for two niches that are combined in one site. I'm trying to decide whether to set it up through WordPress and make it a blog or through mybb and make a forum which i think would be better would ads be better on a mybb forum or a WordPress blog give me some advice all recommendations are appreciated.

Start with wordpress.

Get a steady amount of traffic before you start monetizing

This ^ Unless you want a LOT more work, stick with WP over a forum.
