Need advice with a clothing company

My friend started his own clothing company a little while back. He's to the point where he's looking for affiliates. I love the company and the products and would like to do some affiliate work for him.

Anyone have an idea what some good ways to market a not-so-well known clothing company so that I can get his name and product out there for people to see without thinking I'm spamming?

Already using Facebook, just looking for other methods of getting him some sales.

As far as the affiliate directory, we were planning on deciding on $X amount per sale I would get for each item, I am just trying to get some ideas on how to market the product so it will be sold.
