Need advice to gain more traffic

Hi everybody,

I'm running a Fail Pictures website but I want to have more traffic. I have currently 2000 to 5000 UV per day and I'm sure I can reach a higher traffic. I just need some fresh ideas for promotion or any suggestion you can have. My website is Youhavefailed dot com. It's a french website.

You're already doing very good. Try pinterest or instagram. Do you have a facebook fan page? If not, make one of them and post the pictures there. Once you do that, people can start sharing them and liking them and your page will start to grow organically.
 
Since most of your content is of graphics, you should use the social traffic like fb, twitter, su. Stumbleupon is a good traffic generator for sites like this and it's really viral.
 
Where does most of your traffic come from now?

I can't believe you are getting that much traffic but getting like zero interaction on your posts.. no likes, tweets, shares, +1s with all that traffic?
 
My traffic is comming from Facebook, Tumblr and Google. My website was hosted on tumblr but now since less than a month I moved it to a self hosted wordpress blog. This is why there ie not much interaction because by doing that i have lost all facebook comment and all sare/like because permalinks on tumblr and Worpress are differents !
 
you already done lots of work that's really good. i will suggest some work on graphics and add some more content.
 
Sometimes it happens that you get traffic from Facebook and twitter. But, I recommend you to create best content that may attract users to the site and it is a superb technique that favors the owner of site and relevant keywords also help in building traffic.
 
Pinterest - since all your content is images - this is by far and away best traffic source.
 
Great job. You are really getting good traffic. I would have suggested you Facebook, but you are getting very good traffic form Facebook. I think it's time to get the most out of Pinterest.

Rely on content, make informative posts rather than weaving it on keyword. This will help you long run
 
I suggest Face book adverting is most effective for getting targeting UV.or else Adwords is nice to have organic UV.
 
first let us know how you are getting so many visitor everyday. because i also need it. and in search of getting more visitor everyday.
 
Well, I was going to suggest using a more targeted social media approach, but it looks like people have already suggested this. There is a way to boost your social media traffic...saw this post the other day

congrats on your views dude...you seem to be doing very well already! Im starting on promoting my site as well and theres some good pointers on this thread.
 
The best method would be to create a community based on your website. Engage the audience somehow, make them feel involved with your website. Popularity should surely grow if it is implemented.
