[Need Advice] Should I start my IM project now or wait?

I'm going to start an IM project, specifically, I'm going to be doing paid ads + cpa. I already know what traffic source I'm going to use and I also have a pretty solid strategy in place for when I start.

My problem is that I'm currently going through college and I also have a part time job (remote), whenever I start this project I want to work on it for 8+ hours a day, but that might not be possible until I quit my job.

Should I quit my job to work on this project? I don't have any bills to pay since I still live with my parents and college here is pretty cheap, so I've been able to save a decent amount which I plan to invest into this project.

And what if your project goes belly up real quick?

I would hold on to the job and just test the waters with IM. A lot of it is down to simple trial and error afterall.

Also keeping the job, you’ve got additional money coming in just in case things don’t go as planned; something to fall back on, esp if you think pays OK and/or if it relates in some way to IM (you’d basically be getting paid to learn )

If you need to make more time I would instead just stop going to theoretical lectures where the lecturer just reads off the slides almost word for word - assuming this scenario applies to you at all.

Go all in dude, that's what I did. I new that if I gave myself an out I wouldn't take my attempts as seriously as I should. So I quit my job and gave myself an actual do or die situation. One of the best decisions I ever made.

Paid ADs + CPA is not a newbie-friendly method and is not easy ( relatively - as there is no such thing as 'easy' when it comes to IM ).

I'd recommend you start by investing as less as possible(without hurting your effectiveness). Keep reading and studying, no matter how the journey goes.

About the time: Try to be as efficient as possible when it comes to time management. What you could do is start developing some good habits which will help you gain precious time. Example of this might be - stop wasting your time(watching TV, playing video games, scrolling social media) and start gaining time by creating a schedule that you follow. Another thing that is very effective is to start waking up as early as possible( I'm saying this because not everyone can wake up at 5:30 AM every morning without the bills depending on it).

Yeah I completely agree, thankfully I do have some experience and a healthy budget, so I should get a good amount of "tries". And I second waking up early, I've been doing it lately (monday to sunday) and it's great!
