I just like the idea of internet fame.
Organic growth. DM every last person you can on your main. Ask about everything you can about their day, life, etc. Shout them out. Retweet them. They'll start commenting, retweeting, faving and the best thing - talking about you.
A new Twitter based relationship like that lasts a month in my experience and peaks in interest in your account after a week.
I reply to well over 250 people a day.
