No, building backlinks can increase your traffic, but bots won't do much.

Don't do it. Focus on generating real traffic via social media cause our time on this planet is limited and each time you create ideas like that, you're wasting parts of something that can't be recovered.
Program a bot for YouTube, TikTok or just automate content creation. Anything will do better and people will be interested in. This isn't a good idea. You need to improve it. Your idea of having a bot is good, but you're using bots for the wrong type of thing.
