Need Advice on the Possible Pitfalls with This Niche (Google Safe?)

Ok so this isn't the niche I found but the below example will give you a better idea of the situation I'm in...


So I was doing some niche research on biscuits, and I came across a keyword with a very high search volume, high CPC, and low competition. Here's the thing, the keyword was Pure Biscuits.

Pure Biscuits isn't a type of biscuit though, it's the websites/companies name. They sell an assortment of types and flavors.

Will the Big G have a problem if I ride the coat tails of this keyword and create a site around this keyword/niche based on a websites name/title? The focus being information on biscuits types, flavors, and recipes? So I would have a domain of PureBiscuitsInfo or PureBiscuitsTastes or PureBiscuitsFlavors etc.

Just want to know any possible barriers (if any) that I may come across if I take on this niche.

Shouldn't share your keywords... Wont be low competition......

@elocin, you should read more carefully.

@1uplives, no you will have no problems with Google unless you use adwords for your site, in which case some trademark brands are blocked for use within ads in order to stop people misrepresenting someone elses company.

I have a site that has a brand name in its domain, had no problems, been up for over a year.

Okay so I should be fine if I use Adsense for this site? Also just out of curiosity, your brand name site. Does it see healthy traffic even though its not the targeted brand/company people are looking for?

You won't have to be afraid of Google when it comes to brand terms in organic search. However, you need to be aware that in some cases the brand owner could sue you and claim your domain name if it contains their brand. Just keep that in mind when investing a lot of time and/or money.

Yes, for me too it appears a case where you need to be more careful for trademark violation than adsense/adwords policies.

Erm, I'm from the UK they don't air your games here, unless I used sky TV.

My site ranks number one for '<brand name> review' and '<brand name> reviews'. It doesn't target people who are just looking for '<brand name>'.
