Hi guys,

Looking for advice from serious blackhatters.

I have been asked to try and help move or destroy an url in google
that contains the name of the client and is a bit of unsavoury article
but the problem being is the article is correct, so it will not be removed by Google.

They have approached the website in question regarding he piece and they refuse to remove
it either, This is damaging my potential clients profile.

I have some ideas how to tackle this but would like to know your thoughts.

PM me to let me know your thoughts on how to tackle this

If website is built with joomla hire a professional developer and tell him to hack that website.......negative SEO will not work as there will be no competition for name search......

Is the article true? If not sue them for slander! If it's true, then write 100 articles about how awesome he is and get those ranked higher then nobody will see it!

thanks guys so far for the replies. I will try and fill you in a little bit of the details so you can maybe
be in a better position to help.

The url is from a newspaper in the UK
The guy although found guilty of the offence, it took place long before he came wealthy and well to do.
The problem is now if someone types in his name, the offending URL is there first.

My first thoughts were negative SEO, then I thought about ranking every other page around it.
He is trying to get the offending page down to at least page 5!
so I keep going back to negative SEO.

Anymore thoughts?

LOL, start with some strong social signals and then go into nothing but press releases and articles that praise the target victim. You can also turn the negativity around and use it to his advantage, but that is a higher strategy than normal and takes a lot more time than it is worth.
