Need Advice On Some Money Making Ideas

Hi all,

I have been reading this forum for a few weeks now, and found it to be very informative, with a lot of helpful members.

I would like to try to make some extra cash online, and have a few projects I have thought of. I would like a bit of advice on those.

*Creating a website with free downloads, such as wallpapers, messenger emoticons and stuff, as well as some flash games.
I would put CPA offers or PPC advertising (like Adsense, Bidvertiser, or others)

*Making an incentive site in which the user would complete CPA offers, and then I would give them a small reward (probably something that can be delivered online, like phone card, voucher/gift certificate for online merchant, etc)

I have done a good amount of research already, I have spent many hours reading this, and other forums, as well I have also read some ebooks (thanks for the downloads section) about Internet Marketring. I am willing to start small, would like to make maybe $25-$50 per day with those sites for now. So no, this is not a "Tell me how to make $10000 per day doing nothing" type post.


I would like some advice on the following:

*There seems to be hundreds of CPA networks out there, which ones do you recommend? I would also like it if it had some simple CPA offers that could be completed by users from Canada.

*Which methods would be the best to get quality visitors to the sites?
For example, I have read from here and some ebooks that making videos in YouTube, and using networks like Myspace works well. Anyone has used this, and to what degree of success?

For the incentive site, I can make flyers and post them on billboards at work, or distribute them to friends & colleagues, etc, however I doubt this alone could bring enough visitors to make a decent profit.

I have also seen free classified networks, like Craigslist, etc mentioned in ebooks & forums. Would it be a good idea to use them to promote the types of sites I want to create?

Any other ideas on how to get traffic without spending a fortune? - I have a budget of around $100/month I am willing to invest in this (Adwords seems quite expensive, with some keywords would require bids of $0.40 or more per visitor, so I am reluctant to use that)

*There are also many PPC networks out there. Which (besides Adsense) would you recommend for the downloads site?

there are a lot of CPA affiliate networks out there. most require you to have a website. they will review your site to see whether you qualify or not.

as far as traffic, you can use Youtube/other video sites to post videos. i have had some good ROI from Youtube. the main thing is post videos that people will want to see and hopefully they go viral. you can also use social bookmarking sites like digg, delicious, reddit, propeller, etc to get some traffic.

Copeac.com is also pretty good for pay per lead programs. And you can try to sell digital products in ebay also. Giving some ads to classifieds.

instead of wondering things like should i use myspace or youtube, you should just use them both.

try EVERYTHING

if you find something is not working for you, stop wasting time with it.if it works good, continue with it. but you should always try as many ways possible, because even if you find that one way is working well and you are content with that, you could be missing out on another stream of cash that you didnt investigate.

never stop at just one "way" or one "network" or one "offer" etc.

worst thing to do, because things change. offers get paused, advertising rules and restrictions change, etc. when that happens and the stream of $ you've become accustomed to dries up, you will have to scramble for an alternate method.
