need advice on domain name purchase ...

i found a actor name domain ,.com,avg mth search 22200,competition - low..............shall i buy it ? will it face any copyright matter?

Since you can buy domains for 1 dollar with go daddy coupons, it would be silly for you not to buy it.

You should go for it, buy the domain, you may and may not get sued...

Do your homework, check to see if they have their name registered as a trademark using the intellectual property website. Think about what your expected return on your investment will be and how you will capitalise on your investment. If you are using the actors name to directly profit from the domain you will likely loose the domain if challenged.

Research the actor in question and see how likely this is to happen, if it is very likely to happen then you could always profit indirectly by redirecting the domain to a relevant money site if the actor in question is very well known and you are likely to have type-in traffic.

Look online by searching "domain registration tips" and researching the subject thoroughly.

bought NRA.support and next day got nasty email from their lawyer. I am thinking of transferring it offshore. Not even doing anything with it just holding for now. hell i might even sell it. Any ideas best way to protect it. I just don't want them to seize it for now
