Hello

Given that here the competition in many fields is generally week, a market that have really high demand for this kind of services and me finding a great partner that can financially support the whole idea, finally. I have decided to give this a shot.

- web development is simply wordpress development in this case. - [ most of the clients want to display info in pages, no back-end functionality whatsoever, well, nothing wp plugins haven't already simplify ]

- Marketing services will consist mainly of facebook - [ paid and automated ]+ youtube promotions and local seo for local businesses. - [ freakin authority websites on the field with hardly any on-page optimization ]

- a not so large initial fund from the partner. but should suffice for a start up. [ i don't even know what i need as of now ] vps+proxies+accounts+ fb ads credit+ SIM Cards+ social media automation tools+ ? + ? + ?

main plan as of now is creating a services website then run social media promotions and local seo for it. Also compiling a list of contacts and cold call them or use email outreach, heck even visit them in person and offer them my services. maybe hire a couple of chicks to do the in person visits- that shit works for some weird reason.

what advice can you give me on the subject, your thoughts would be very much appreciated.

also any links or online materials that can put me on the right direction in terms of overall strategy would also be appreciated as honestly am feeling kind of overwhelmed right now.

gracias hermanos.

Break it down a bit, what’s the first step you need to take? Where are you stuck ?

By the looks of it, you're probably living in central america, probably Guatemala, Belize, El Salvador, around there somewhere. Any decent country should have a ton of SEO businesses already in place. Even my eastern european country has a decently developed SEO field.

Living in a hellhole country does have advantages. You will be the first to build this industry, you will have big success. The downside is that there isn't too much money to be made.

funds.. to get that i need to continue with the job that basically takes all of the time in the day sparing nothing to go check other stuff out.. i feel like i need to think big.

the partner turned out to be a sham...

You can easily do web development without funds - you can get out and do some local networking or get on some freelancer sites and get some work, then set the sites up using free themes. That’s a great way to start.

You know what they say in this industry - you can procrastinate as much as you want, but if you don’t take action you won’t get anywhere.

Norther africa or sub-sahara ?

Don't get too excited. You need to make this business get nr 1 in your country and stay like that forever. You are building the field from zero. And you forgot these 2 important things:

- Make deals with the owners of blogs and newspapers, so you can put advertorials in there.
- You need to do onpage seo too.
- build a decent PBN for your country

These steps should be done in order to start a SEO business in a place where there is none.

I appreciate you reply. Would have troubles using freelance websites as they are not well known where i come from, besides most of the payment methods they offer are out of the clients reach. Things must be done locally, social media promotion would be the best source of traffic, but i would need an office to meet up with my clients, heck even some nice cloth.. i know it would take time but i want to do it the right way..
