Hi,

i am planning to buy some backlinks for my site but have general doubt whether i need to buy links directly to my pillar post or need to link backlinks to support post articles that are linked to pillar post? thanks

Link to those posts that you think if they get improvement can bring a lot of traffic. Simple.

No need to complicate things.

Buy some for both because link diversity is also important. For new blogs, it might be more important to buy links for homepage first.

if you get a lot of links it wouldn't hurt to point a couple of them to each supporting post. But otherwise point them to the main post as that's the one you want to rank mostly (presumably)

Buy for each, i would build more to your actual posts though. On top of this like other people have said, focusing on building links to your homepage is extremely important and adds authority through the website.

You need to build links to both the pages and give more importance to the main page.

Also, don't forget to keep your homepage strong as well. The page with the most backlinks should be your homepage.

A pillar post is first priority. Build links to internal pages later on
