I have a great B2B email list of about 75,000 professionals in a service niche (doctors, etc). I can drip blast about 500 people a day promoting a niche service I do for their industry which I want to focus on so I can streamline. At some point, these domains are going to get popped by the spam houses... Should I purchase a few secondary similar named domains and email from those while doing a temporary redirect to my site if they want to visit? Would I be safe from getting my money site domain banned if these blasts are coming from other domain email addresses but the pages are temporarily forwarding to my site so they can find out more information?

Interested in people's views on this as well because I face the same problems.

bum, I am also trying to figure out how to do email blasts better

Have you considered using a service like AWeber or Constant Contact? If you're only gonna do 500 a day, I personally think maybe it's worth a shot? I know that these companies can be pretty strict with e-mail lists that weren't opt-in, but at 500 a day you'll be able to monitor the number of compaints and unsubscribes. And worst case scenario, you won't have to worry about your website getting banned.

I personally never even thought to send the emails from my domain name emails....this is a good idea though, have you every tried it? Do you think there's a benefit as to bypassing spam filters?

I don't know too much about cloaking and re-directs, so I can't really answer your question, but I mean who is it that would be banning the site? What do they use as an indication that a domain is spamming? Maybe you can figure it out and then get a better idea of if it's gonna happen. I don't know the answers to those questions or I'd help you further, lol. But that's just what I would do if I were you.

i think you should use amazon ses..for such volume...without any fear of blacklisting and good inbox rate.
