Hi guys,

I’m new to Facebook marketing and trying to learn before I invest in any service here. I’d really appreciate advice from experienced people what should I focus on first and what mistakes should I avoid?

Also, how do you know which services or sellers are legit?

If you haven't yet chosen a specific area to invest in, I think you should check out any of the articles here.
There are many interesting questions for you to read, and below you will often find answers from experts on various issues.

Focus on basics and content; test small and check reviews before trusting sellers.

For sellers on BHW, you can check if they have the sale threads or not. The sale thread is checked by the moderator. 1 more thing is to make sure you transfer the right wallet on the threads. My company was faked by scammers, and the clients were sent to the wrong wallet that is not on my thread :(
For building a business on marketing, choose a consistent tone that attracts users to follow your content. Make a signature for your content

You can find reputable people on BHW by checking their post metrics and reactions
Always make sure to double-check their wallet address before sending any payments

You better start with the official facebook ads buleprint and actually run some small campaigns yourself first. Don't trust anyone promising instant crazy results or asking for a ton of cash upfront

Check their activity bar and see if there are any threads. Also, carefully check reviews, and reputable sellers on the Forum usually have a long account registration time. Check carefully because even we have fake brands. Additionally, carefully check the transactions in the seller's crypto wallet before you trade.

On BHW, you can rest assured regarding the credibility of the vendors.
However, service quality varies - just make sure to avoid hiring the cheapest options.

Don’t rush into buying services straight away, that’s probably the most common mistake.
Try to understand the basics first by actually running something yourself, even small budget. You’ll learn way more from that than from any “service”.
Focus on one simple setup and get it working before jumping into different things. A lot of beginners just keep switching and never really figure out what’s going on.
As for sellers… if it sounds too good, it usually is. I’d look at how long they’ve been around here and what kind of feedback they have, not just sales threads.
Better to lose a bit testing on your own than burn money on the wrong service.

I’ll give you the version experienced advertisers wish they followed from day one on Facebook.
First: reset expectations

Facebook ads are not:
A magic traffic button
A set once and profit system
They are:
A testing machine to find what converts

1. Offer > everything else
2. Your landing page matters more than your ads
3. Budget: think testing, not scaling
If you approach it like that, you’ll avoid most beginner mistakes.
