need advice for vps

hi, i outsource my backlinks service and now that i made a couple of bucks i would like to try to built my own vps:

after reading a lot of threads i came with these two
xsserver
burstnet

i will start with win vps + scrapebox ant later add senuke, the best spinner etc

2,6Gh + 60Gb disk + 512 Ram (data unmetered from xsserver) is enough to start with scrapebox? and later upgrade it?

sorry for my newbie question

Yes, i've used 512mb with scrapebox and it worked fine. The thing is though, you can't really add anything else. You'd need to upgrade to AT LEAST 1GB for you to run scrapebox and senukex.
 
I have a question;
If we have a vps with the scrapebox license and the host suspend or gone out of business, what happens to the scrapebox we own there?

just talk with the admin/mods of Scrapebox to fix it :) you will lose all your harvests, etc... but you won't need to buy it again lol

I've use ServerFlare for my Scrapebox. It fast and unmetered 100Mbps port. For Scrapebox it is important that you get something that is unmetered. Also hell lot cheaper than xsserver. Also if your going with xsserver make sure that they allow the use of blackhat stuff.

They also got unmertered Netherlands and Ukraine 1Gbps and for a really cheap price too. They allow xrumer on thier 1Gbps server which is what I'm going to be using once I get xrumer!

memory might be a problem 512 MB is really ancient RAM specs i mean it will be super slow and not worth your time, i mean you do get what you pay for but you are better off with a larger RAM size and ports are usually shared on VPS and for SEO tools it wudn matter if you have 100mbps lines or 1gbps lines. have a server with about 7 VPS hosting seo tools i have seen a peak load of 66 mbps so you are fine with the 100mbps lines

the 1 gbps lines are more important when you are having video hosting sites, streaming etc., cause seo tools are limited and the important factor is the LPM links per minute and CPU and RAM plays a role in it.

thanks, i just don't want to spend much because i still need to buy scrapebox :)
waste all the budget on the vps and if i can't make it work ... :confused:
 
If you are just starting out and have limited budget, better run with your computer at home and buy some proxies so you can do SB blasting.

thanks but if i advance for the vps + scrape i don't need to buy the proxy's right?

(i'm not that limited :) i just don't like to spend money)

i 2nd this! this is the best vps, i have a gold plan in their server and running senuke and scrapebox at once, I can achieve 400 post per minute in scrapebox.

xsserver.eu isn the best
i am using 1gb $35 plan
and extremely satisfies with it
 
just user xsserver. they allow blackhat tools and the support is great.
