Hello all,

I have a website that gets around 3k-4k organic traffic per month. The site gets a lot of traffic for my review articles of different business opportunities/MLMs. However, I'm struggling to actually monetize this traffic. I get a few dollars a month from AdSense, but that's about it.

I've thought about promoting Udemy courses that teach people how to start an online business, or promoting some sort of affiliate marketing/online business type product on ClickBank as an "alternative" to the biz opp/MLMs I review, but I've found ClickBank products to be shoddy and I don't want to promote anything that doesn't actually work as I use my real name on the site and I wish to be as ethical as possible. If anyone can point to legit CB products in biz opp, though, that'd be great.

I've been playing around with OptinMonster to get button clicks to offers and email subscribers but the conversion rate is usually fairly low each month (>1-2%) but I definitely see the value of using a tool like this.

My questions are:

1. Does anyone have a biz-opp blog that they have had success monetizing? If so, what are the types of products that they promote and how do they promote them on their site (banner ads, inline ads, pop-ups, etc.)?

2. Has anyone had success with promoting Udemy courses? If so, how do you go about promoting them?

3. What sorts of ClickBank offers in the biz opp niche has anyone had success with?

Thanks!

What is the niche?

Give away a PLR package to capture their email address

Then market to them

Have an Amazon Affiliate site in the Niche

Have a Spreadshirt T-Shirt site in the niche

I've used clickbank, cj, cpa offers, you name it, all over the past 10 years and honestly it's way more work than meets the eye. Plus you never know if they will actually pay you! I've had thousands of $$ denied from me because of one bs reason or another - but this will always happen when someone else is in control of your cash flow!

Sure, it's better than adsense or any ads you have up on a website that's getting under 100k uniques/month, but still affiliate marketing isn't where the money is. (again this is for the 90% of folks)

You are much better off developing your own product and selling that to your current audience.

Just my 2 cents.

Good luck!
