[NEED ADVICE] About my online store

Hello,

I have supermarkets in Bulgaria, for food and grocery. I have made a online store few months ago with the idea to get online orders also. However during these months I have total of 12 orders which is ridiculous. I didn't expect that and I want to speed up my online presence a little.

I can't link the site but you can search for BG MARKET (bgm-online). The site is not perfect but it is good looking and have a lot of products (currently ~4k+). I have tried several times with FB ads but didnt help much.

If you guys can give me any advice how to promote the site better so I can get more orders there?

I'd watch out now for the hundreds of people saying ' add me on Skype, I can do this for you '.

If you're wanting to buy seo services, SMM services have a look on the Marketplace here, then speak to sellers.

Don't just accept some newbie via Skype, as you'll have zero comeback if it goes tits up.

Yes, definitely look at the marketplace for services which can promote your site better.
 
Search the marketplace and you will find many good sellers for this.
 
Promote to it to your existing customers first through gift vouchers. They'll surely buy through online and later recommends to others.
 
Exactly! Your own clients is a great way to start. They will be the first people to advertise your service among their families and friends. You should try some real world advertisement in your markets entrances and give coupons or freebies to incentive online buying. In parallel, some seo services with KW research included would be nice for ranking for the possible products. Best of success!
 
I prefer to buy groceries in person.

Try offering free delivery and price discounts for online orders.

Thank you, this is great method. I've made cards for every client that is buying products in ths stores with 10% discount when shopping from the online store. It worked like a charm, the 2nd week I had over 180 orders. Will add point system soon also - when they order from the online store - they get points and when they get enough points - they can exchange em for products or better discounts.

Will keep you guys in touch. If you have any other great ideas please share em with me.

I have recently head about "Gamification" - it's a new way to promote your business online. You may try it...
 
As another poster mentioned many people still buy food in person, it's really one of the those things that didn't quite take off online, I think one of the biggest issues is that many people enjoy the shopping process when it comes to food and are likely thinking about freshness of food and how the price compares.

you can try some opt in or offering discounts using exit pop up...it helps convert almost 50% of the traffic that we get every month.
