need advice about a domain broker / godaddy service

Hi,

I'm trying to get a domain for a while now and have been waiting to see if the person would just forget to renew it. I checked the whois yesterday and it expired 3-17-22 & it still hasn't been renewed.

The domain used to be for a famous person. It's registered under some company called

Chengdu West Dimension Digital Technology

Still isn't renewed. Should I wait it out and see if the owner doesn't renew it? Or should I asap try to buy it using a godaddy domain broker agent? They charge $69 to reach out though.

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

you can try doing backorders for the domain, or you can try to win it at auction or just simply wait for it to expire then register it.

Yeap. There are 2 possible ways.
If domain name is not renewed that doesn't mean it is lost for previous owner. There is a period of time during which the owner can renew it.
