Need a Wordpress theme modification

I have a Wordpress site with a premium theme that I really like, but I need to extend one of the functions the theme uses when a user is performing a search. I really like the way this function currently works so I'd rather extend its current functionality, rather than building out a new one. Anyway, this should be fairly simple for the right person.

Right now when somebody starts filling out the search bar on my site, it tries to predict what the person is starting to type based on the different "stores" I have listed. I need this functionality extended so it also includes the "categories" and "tags" I have created when it's predicting what the user is typing. All 3 of these are important on my site for a user to be able to find what they want while using the search function, not just "stores" like it is currently.

Thanks, but that's not what I'm looking for I'm looking to hard code an extension of the current functionality. Plus that plugin hosts your searches on their server and they charge you a minimum of $19/month for it.
