Hi everybody, hope someone can help me out with this.

So what I need is a wordpress plugin that allows me to categorize products and then filter them out based on their categories.

Let me try to give an example: let's suppose I'm selling hotdogs, each hotdog shall be categorized based on 3 things: taste, size, ingredients. For example the size can be, small, medium, big, the taste can be x, y or z. Then when I go search I want a big hotdog with x taste, so I select those 2 and only those kind of hotdogs show up.

Hope I made myself clear, if anyone knows of such a plugin please let me know.
    Best regards.

PS: Sorry if I made anyone hungry. ;)

You already have that and it is called, mind you, categories. Use that knowledge well.

What about adding tags to your posts and then finding a tag organiser or tag search plugin? I would find one for you but I'm on the mobile right now dude.

If you're categorizing products you could always use Woocommerce to do so or just implement custom post types and taxonomies.

I assume you want this to be like normal e-commerce sites where you have a select menu, or better - a checkbox group, to chose more strict perimeters for the users' search.

Are you familiar with database queries?

I think woocommerce can do what I'm looking for, I'm going to check that out.

Ye, that is what I'm looking for, but no I'm not familiar with database queries.

Adding tags to your posts and categorize them is easy. Otherwise you have to use database queries. I dont think woocommerce will help.
