Need a USA sim card, best option?

Hello, I will be traveling to USA and I would like to get an USA number (a simcard) that I can maintain from my home country after that. Pay as you go simcard would be better than a contract.

-No monthly maintenance fee
-Long expiration without topping up (if I need to top up once a year to keep it alive, better that once a month).
-No fee to receiving sms abroad (I would need to receive some sms there).
-A good up to manage my line will be a plus (top up online, activate plans, etc) In my home country there are some MNVO that even let you send and receive sms and phone calls using their app, without having the simcard inside your phone. If its there something similar in the USA it would be great, but I dont think USA is so technologically developed to offer this last service.

Any advice that will fit my needs?

I had the same problem. Sad to say it's super difficult to find any. I gave up and simply bought sim cards from my home country.
