I know what you're saying, 'it's not directly based around IM'. Yeah, yeah, whatever, it's probably about as close as we're going to get while having decent actors. Give it a look, it's actually a really good show.

The lingo they speak about code and marketing is legit too.

"In the high-tech gold rush of modern Silicon Valley, the people most qualified to succeed are the least capable of handling success. A comedy partially inspired by Mike Judge's own experiences as a Silicon Valley engineer in the late 1980s."

Bachman is by far my favorite character on the show. I forgot that he owned a company in the show and says he owns a part of Grindr too.
 
I can confirm, I only came in at the end of last season, but a very entertaining show even if you are not a tech guy, Of course for guys like us its good.

I had watched from season 2, then went and watched season 1, and seen through season 3. I was mainly using it for background noise while writing, but I ended up too interested.

Come to know about the show 3-4 months back from an Indian youtube series (which is based on it) yt comments, Finished all seasons in a week.
 
This is one of my absolute favourite shows, I'm surprised more people haven't heard of it actually. I re-watched season 1 and 2 while I waited for new episodes of season 3 to be released.

I can't understand why crap like big bang theory is more popular than comedic gold like SV.

If you download it over a day and then watch its going to be much better than buffering it out.
