The best way to achieve this will be through an event-driven paradigm.
First, a streaming feed needs to be created that subscribes to the user in question (it is possible to subscribe to 5000 userids).
Next a reactive mechanism to react to posts by each userid.

What makes this method efficient is the fact that you do not have to poll the user account often and risk getting banned. Also, you could create a dummy account to do the monitoring and route replies via your real account. I am certain you could get replies posted within 5secs of tracked users tweet.

PM if you're interested in the creation of this tool.

I do agree with you on that. I think $4.99 to $9.99 monthly maximum and $29.99 to $39.99 for a 1 time fee.

50 actions a day for 1 account/IP is a LOT. I wouldn't do over 20 actions per day per account/IP + few manual actions to mix it up.

I mean if you sold it super-cheap it would die out quick. Sell it for a solid price fewer people get it, it's well worth the investment.

Getting some mixed results. I know I'm one of the first people to reply but it sure doesnt seem like it looking at these stats. I wish you could see replies in chronological order to see whos replying before me. Is there an option for this that I'm just not seeing?

I have a social media management tool and Its very easy to offer this feature in that tool. How many twitter accounts would you use?

    But do note that:
    - this is against Twitter's terms
    - your account can get blocked
    - API access can also be revoked by twitter

Ideal and safe way would be to manually reply to the tweets but just collect them all at one place.

You can get replies posted much quicker than yet using the twitter API streaming endpoint, which does exactly as you describe. But you need twitter API access, which is no longer as easy to get as it was

I think it could work, just have to be very careful how you get the updated of a new tweet. Also with some strict limitations to avoid posting too many tweets first (And assuming your tweet is not spammy).

    1) streaming API endpoing
    2) proxies and fast scraping of the userfeed to protect your posting account
    3) following the user and using the timeline update notification AJAX endpoint to be find out about new tweets and detecting the users you are watching that way.

    (1) would be the best but API access is an issue.
am running tests on (2) and (3) to see which would be best for speed. I have a feeling a tweet is probably posted and there is a delay before timeline notifications go out to all (more so for big accounts where millions need to get notified)

there is definitely a sweet spot between numbers sold and price. But twitter is not such a big target (just look at this forum compared to the IG forum for traffic to get an idea). But for a one function twitter poster, you cannot sell it for much. And probably won't sell many either. Which makes the feasibility of such a tool hard to maintain in the long run, which is why there aren't many already as bots have a heavy maintenance requirement due to changes, block / ban / suspended response changes, limits, warnings that all need to be handled.

Great point, I guess I was just putting the value I personally see on it.

I am currently awaiting verification of my developer account, after which I should have the solution ready within a day.

and herein lies the problem. Good luck with it, but I hear it is not so easy to get.

Then you are using a library to connect to the stream or code something yourself to the API spec? Both have their problems. When I was coding to the APIs, you are fighting library bugs and weird ways of doing things. Do it yourself and the twitter API is not that nice, especially not the auth process at scale.

I just got developer account verification and the solution is almost complete. The API is pretty robust I must say.

Finally ! She's working as should with average of 2sec reply time. I will share the link here immediately I deploy to the server and have people test on a per hour time slot.
