need a simple script but can't find...

My requirement for a membership script is that I need to upload several text files and give members restricted access.

Some are common files and some are unique to a member. For example, a.txt, b.txt and c.txt are 3 files. Some member is paying for "a" then he can download only "a.txt" when he logs in. Some can download "a.txt" and "b.txt". Some can download "b" and "c" and some all 3.

However, john is paying something for a special custom content so he can download john.txt. Similarly dolly can maybe download dolly23.txt.

At the same time, garry can maybe download garry.txt as well as a.txt

All payments are offline - no ecommerce required.

Does anyone know a script that does this?

I think it seems to need Membership Control version 4.0 which costs GBP 49.00. Or am I wrong? I also came across phprojekt which will probably suit my requirements as there is no online payment...

if your making payments offline you will have to allocate your users manually, but you would not need another component

else if you where taking payments online i would recommend you use AEC to allocate to assign your users into the appropriate access groups, aec is now commercial and does cost around $70 but is worth the investment

J1.6 is just around the corner and will has a much better out of the box ACL
