Hi everyone,
I'm 100% Whitehat when it comes to my web sites and now I am working on a research project to help me understand some issues that I've encountered.
the problem I've encountered is I've plateaued, nothing is working and some of the sites that I own are stuck on page 2 or 3. I would like to push them further. Since I stick to the hilltop algorithm for 99% of my SEOing I find that it's easy to make it 30th position, sometimes it's a breeze to get to rank 5, but I've encountered a huge boulder lately and I want to research a different angle of attack.
the tool I need is a search engine scraper:
I need to scrape the results of a keyword phrase from bing, yahoo and google . the first 500 to 1000
I would like it to give me the results in an text file with the domain name and rank, I have no problem if it shows multiple results for the same domain.
I would like it to work slowly, I don't want it to require the use of a proxy. I never hide when I do the SEO stuff and I'm rather happy with the success I have had. I would like something I could run overnight so that it does the job and the next morning I have 3 output files showing the results for yahoo, bing and google.
does anyone have any ideas or point me in the right direction. I'm not in the mood to write my own macro script to try this out.
thanks in advance
