I have tried nearly all of the "hide referrer" scripts here and have yet to find one that will not only hide the referrer but also spoof a fake one, and also NOT LEAK.

Does anyone here know of a be all-end all script to hide and then fake the referrer without ever leaking the true referring url?

Many thanks!

Okay. So first, there would be no reason to DMR + fake the referrer.

Second every DMR and every FR script I've seen works and works pretty well. The DMR's now have an anti-leak protection so if the ref. isn't blank it will send it else where and move on.

Faking the referrer will never leak, there would be no reason for it to as you're passing your traffic to a script that will: go to your WH page/blog/site and in that page/blog/site you will have some header info to pass your visitor with the referrer info of the BH link/page/blog/site and will "clean" your referrer with your WH referrer.
So all your CPA/merch will see is your traffic coming from your WH site.

Also I recently found a nice program that will do the DMR all for you. wtfpwnage posted it a few days/weeks ago, it was from a member here. I don't remember who posted it though. I'll look.

That's it right there, awesome little program.

thats dont fake the referrer though, its just redirects if the the referrer is not blanked

like him, im also looking for something reliable to make the offer AND junk traffic seem as if it was coming from a WH site.

Yes, I know I was just simply correcting the OPs question: there would be no point in blanking (DMR) and faking the referrer.

I've seen quite a few posts with scripts on here for faking the referrer, search around a bit.

Also, DMR doesn't only redirect if the referrer isn't blanked. If it's not blanked it will blank it.

yea i tried plenty scripts but none seem to be able to push fake traffic through to get clicks on the network side.... maybe my traffic sources but its a real headache right now

Am I missing something. If you read the posts in that post you linked, people are complaining that like 3 IE's (iFrame), Chrome, and god knows what else it does not work in.

That post is talk about DMR, it's to hide referer, not spoof it
try http://referer.us/spoof-http-referer.html

Not to bump a dead thread but the fact the OP never said ANYTHING about iframing (which is stupid to do in the first place) I didn't think about mentioning it not working with an iframe.

The program post works, and works well...

The software I'm selling in my signature takes care of that... ;)

What you want is a Javascript form submit redirect. Basically you force submit on a form going to your destination thus giving that page as the referer. But, when the user did not click-through to that page from one of yours, it looks like a whitehat page. Works in a frame or not in a frame.

You can fake referer with PHP cURL... :)

Sure... server-side. But I'm pretty sure that's not what's at issue here. Faking referrers in a programming environment you control is simple in just about any environment.

Spoofing referrers on the client-side through a browser is another story. It can be done effectively... but it takes some creativity and technical know-how. And definitely can *not* be done in cUrl.

You can hide the ORIGINAL referrer with a javascript location.replace. The js redirect will blank the referrer or change it to the page its located on, depending on the browser. And it doesn't leak.

Sorry that's not really true, straight javascript still carries the referrer in many browsers. That's why you need a two stage with a POST like Brad's CPA redirector.
