Need a Programmer

I Need a programmer to setup Kali Linux on a dedicated server to be accessed remotely. I am contracted out by a cyber security company and need certain programs to be installed as I will be using this to show potential clients the vulnerabilities within their systems. I much rather pay you to do this but I'm also open to doing a partnership for the right programmer.

You can't setup Kali Linux, and yet you're contracting as someone in InfoSec.. This is wrong on so many levels.

Just replace the Debian packages with the Kali packages, it's all the same outside of that, Kali is built off of Debian.

If you can't do this, you truely have no place advising clients on how to setup, configure, and maintain a secure server. In most industry's that would be considered fraud. In the InfoSec community, it just makes you a skiddy and masquerading as an IS pro, is just gunna land you in the next zf0(or whatever group is publishing these days) zine.

I am looking to hire someone, please excuse me as I did not know that the hire a freelancer section is not the appropriate place to hire someone. I never said anything about advising clients on how to setup, configure, and maintain a secure servers. I am a salesman not a programmer but thank you I will defiantly keep you in mind the next time I need someone to be somewhat helpful.

That looks like your pen testing not sales.

I mean if you're selling the service, and someone else is doing the testing I don't see the need for Kali.

Also you're probably looking for more of an IT/networking person to setup a server, not a programmer. Programmers write code. Unless you're looking for someone to re-write kali for you?

Also a side note - if you can't set it up, you're not going to be able to do mch with it. While there is a pretty GUI, almost every tool requires a CLI/terminal commands to run.

You're also better off having this on a laptop to take to your clients and show them - pretty hard to fire up aircrack on a remote server to test said clients wifi keys, or do injection/monitoring without a proper chipset(your server blades are all hard wired, they definitely won't support mon0 on a wireless network).

I'm trying to be constructive by telling you that your objective here, is the wrong way to go about this.

However if you absolutely need Kali on a remote box, I'll do it for you - 50$ inbox me.
