Okay guys so here's the deal, my company is on our 3rd programmer and ran into a little bit of a problem with craigslist.
Here's what we do....We run a company where we search craigslist manually (or at least for the past 2 years it's been manually) using first craiglook before it was shut down and then searchtempest. We buy and sell used and new cell phones, android, blackberry, iphone, ipad. It's a very legit company and we have been pretty successful. We just want to amp up production of getting phones from 12-15 a day to 40+ a day.
We look in every city/state in the US and send a email to every single person that has one of our 67 models we sell (can never finish the list on a daily basis) all we do is change the price we offer.
However, since last Thursday craigslist seems to of blocked my IP thinking I'm doing something wrong, but it's been perfectly fine the last 2 years?
Our current programmer came up with some awesome stuff, but is now stuck because his IP got banned too before he put up a VPN/firewall.
We now are stuck and don't know what to do, but what we want/have kind of right now is a web interface that run and finds the models in our price range and emails them automatically. However, we can't run it because the email part we only have 15 accounts through our domain right now that rotate off each email it sends. He said we need about 300 gmail/aol accounts for it to work. So we said we can buy 1000 gmail accounts and he said he doesn't think it's going to to work that way?
Anyone able to help us out here? I know this is a long post, but I am just trying to put it down as it comes to me!
