Need a plugin that checks embeded videos.

Does anybody know of a plugin for wordpress that checks to see if a embeded video has been removed?

Me and a buddy of mine have a site thats has over 1500 views a day at present, we are updateing daily with new content and currently have well over 35 different videos embeded on the site.

The other day I noticed a drop in our conversion rate and decided to check what was causeing it. I fount roughly 12 of the videos had been removed by the hosting site. Is there any plugin that will notify me if anything like this happens in the future?

I've tried searching google and BHW but couldn't really find what I was looking for, I've tried the wordpress "broken link checker" plugin but this only checks normal links and pictures. Not videos..

I do a lot of custom stuff for my WP sites and use a lot of different plugins. Never seen what you are looking for.
What you could do is use a plugin that lets you insert either PHP or javascript into the post and insert a conditional statement to play an alternative video if the link is dead. Should be pretty easy to do.

What is the host you are using for the videos?

hmm don't know php or java haha sure a quick search on G will give it to me though Cheers buddy.

Quite a few different ones. Youtube, putlocker and sockshare are them main 3 though.
