Need a new torrent site

Hi all, hoping someone can point me in the direction of a good torrent site please.
KAT has been blocked in the UK, Demonoid gone, TPB blocked so I need some recommendations off you guys where to go.
I don't hammer torrents, just the occasional movies and music CD's, program here and there, photoshop etc but not a heavy user at all.

What are some of your favorite sites, I'm sure there are decent ones out there, just need to find them :)

I know that a lot of people still download torrents, I personally have gave up on them. I got tired of cleaning and repairing my computer.

I tried a few when it all first fell apart but they all seemed slow and sometimes I was waiting days for things to download, will have another look though, thanks :)

Never really had a problem with torrents, AV seems to catch anything dodgy.
 
Have you tried silvertorrent[dot]org or you can even go for private torrent sites like IPT, torrentleech, torrentday etc to name a few. Most of the private torrent sites are invite based.
 
ahhh I love kat, too bad there is so much garbage out there now :(

Invite based is the problem, no invtes ;-)

I used newsgroups a long time ago via NZB's, might be worth buying another subscription if I start to download a little more heavily but for now a good torrent site will cover it, thanks for reminding me about newsgroups though, I'd forgotten about them :)

That's why I only download software from trusted uploaders on TPB, it's clean 99% of the time
 
torrent day is what I use, PM me your email. I can give 2 invites out.
 
torrentday.com my friend. Also in the UK and it's pretty much the only site I've used for a good year or two. Has all the latest films/tv/music etc, no rotten torrents as it's invite only now.

I have an invite or two spare so, PM me if you need it :)

edit: didn't notice the post before me! That guy also has the right idea
