a little off topic, but where'd you get the startup cash for that?

There's this hipster neighborhood in chicago without an indian restaurant and indian food is big. I've wanted to open one for so long.

Restaurant biz is some of the hardest shit to pull off. Big up to Gordon Ramsey and the other chefs lol. You appeal to TASTE and that's different from person to person. It's hard creating a rep, and if people don't like it the first time, don't expect to see them again. Also customer service has to be up to standard, the food needs to come out in time, you need to apply for CC processing etc. too freaking long if you ask me. A hookah bar you just setup shishas, serve drinks/tea and you're sorted.
 
If my screen's color balance is correct, you could call it:

Lavender Room
Lavender Lounge
Aladdin's Lavender Lounge

Or,

Persian Place
Persian Palace
Persian Paradise
 
You gotta keep it simple and like Up In Smoke personally. Although it's an offline venture, don't forget to use your online head. Giving it some cutesy name with some funky spelling just makes it that much harder for people to find your future website with directions, coupons, upcoming events...etc.

G000gle is the new yellow pages and there's nothing more annoying then getting a good word of mouth referral to check out the new Cozy Corner bar(or whatever) and wasting 15 minutes of my life trying to get more info off the web only to find out the moron spells it Kozy Korner.

Tons, but should be worth it. I picked a prime location located literally next to a college in a busy shopping center. The town I chose has nothing for college students and young adults to do and it is a college town of about 20k people plus the surrounding towns that are 10 minutes away I will get traffic from.

Supplies have cost nearly $7,000 with all the hookah pipes, tobacco, everything.

All in total, I am over $25,000 in investment.
