I'm a bit confused regarding buying expiring domains. Say i find a Brandable , niche perfect no spammy backlinks and with good metrics ie TF 25+ DA 10+ PA 25+ RD 10+ which is a few days from expiring. Do i HAVE to use a backorder service(They charge 79$ now!!) on a domain like this? or can i wait for the expiry date and try to pick it up as soon as it expires? is there any chance in trying to beat the system manually when it comes to a good domain anymore?
Also, do the metrics reset if i wait too long(a few hours max) before registering it and if so will the speed of a backorder service help in this manner?
Also, if the metrics do remain how much of a boost will i get trying to make it my main money site? will it be a lot easier to rank from scratch especially if it's aged domain?
