    Hey Guys,

I've been reading tons of posts here and tried to implement them to earn a little online

I found my niche and it will perform well once I can get ranked in google, Only problem is I can't seem to get there

One company offered me 30 days link building and I didn't have to pay unless I seen results, Which I didn't. Now after using a company for link building/seo I'm stuck.

I need to do a complete rework of my article as a lot of them have only been altered a little from the originals. I'm probably going to outsource these to ensure uniqueness.

    The questions I have are:

    1. Is there anything else I could be doing to help get ranked page 1?

    2. Long term I'm hoping to target multiple micro-niches via one big niche website (all same niche) should I use Joomla or WordPress?

I'm not expecting miracles but generally I just give up and move on to something else but think this could be a good long term project.

Also, I tried adwords and have an outstanding balance, will this affect my ranking if it's not paid?

    Thanks again!

Thanks for your reply, I'm pretty new at this. Hence deciding to check conversions by using adwords.

I'm currently redoing the whole website including some good keywords (inc longtail too)

What is the best way to start and move up through google?

Not asking for step by step just a starting point, I'm willing to put in the work on this one just not sure where to start as a SEO/Link building company couldn't rank me.

    Thanks again!

Definitely, you need to use WP. It's easy to use, and, in my personal opinion, far more efficient.

Regarding the start: keep posting good content on your site, on a daily basis. Also, start building quality links. Build them manually (or have someone doing this for you). Make sure they are also being built constantly (on a daily basis, too).

Your authority site idea looks great, having in mind the nowadays ranking priorities which Google has.

I'll keep on top of posts, I've used a company to do link building before and got nowhere, where can I find lists to do my own or maybe a Google search term to help find some?

What do people think of buying guest posts on fiverr? Obviously related niche blogs?

Should I build links to the main URL or to each post with different keywords?

    Thanks

    1. Focus on driving traffic from sources that aren't reliant on Google. Search engine is unpredictable and out of your control for the most part.

You might rank today but then not tomorrow and if that's where all your visitors come from your site ends up out of business instantly when your ranking drops.

Go for direct traffic from either paid ads like banner ads or PPC or free traffic through guest posting, blog commenting, forum marketing, social media, content syndication, email marketing, video etc.

    2. Better to focus on one niche per site than multiple. WP is really easy to use and powerful too.

    Thanks for your reply!

I was thinking about going down the guest blogs and social route, hopefully building up a email list too,

The niche I'm going for is more like an umbrella niche with loads of micro niches which I was thinking of putting a post on with relevant keywords.

    Example:

Main site niche : making money with affiliate programs
extra posts with different keywords : making money with affiliatewindow
another post with different keywords : making money with *******

^^^ not actual niche just trying to give an idea ^^^

One last question if people don't mind,

My current content was pretty much cloned from another website and is ranked at page 9. I have complete fresh content now, should I delete the old and start again or just let it be?

    Thanks again
