So, I made my first money online - around 20$, with PPD and youtube. But I don't think this is how I should continue so I tough about buying website from flippa.com which is like selling seo services or so. I'm intrested in your advice if is worth it and maybe if it even worth buying site with seo services since there is alot of them already! Thanks!:)

Generally speaking - no.

Most of the low-end websites you encounter on Flippa are nothing but templates (where the seller creates the same site over and over again and sells "copies" of it). If you want to buy a website then first make sure that a) it's generating revenue; b) it is indeed the website that is generating revenue, rather than the current owner of the website (who would start generating revenue for their new project, rather than the website you're buying, immediately after you take over).

But if a template-site is actually what you're after then why spend the cash on it? With the information you have here on BHW it will take you an hour or two to put together an "SEO Service" site that is as good as the ones that are being sold on Flippa. You need to bear in mind though that to provide SEO service you would actually need to know about SEO (unless you're reselling), as well as have a strategy for finding clients.

In any case, only buy sites that are already generating revenue and don't believe any of the "this site has massive potential" stories, no matter how good they sound.

Most of the web sites that are sold on Flippa that are somewhat of a turnkey solution are made from templates. If you find one that you really like, you can just rip it yourself with HTTrack or Sitesucker. you would not be ripping anything off that is really copyrighted as the owner of it is selling it multiple times. Then all you would have to do is buy a domain for it and update the content.

Terrible idea. Easier and cheaper if you have any value of time to just purchase the template site. Most of the time they sell for about $100 then change it how you want it.

I also need help.
One of the bidder on flippa is winning the auction at low reserve price.
Now what should i do?

a) Try to avoid hijacking other people's threads.

b) If you're the seller - in the future set your reserve price at the level that you're willing to sell the site at - that's what reserve price is for. If you're a buyer interested in the site, put in a higher bid.

Mind you though, auctions tend to pick up towards the end so if there's still some time left until the auction ends you may easily get a few new bids in. You can also consider purchasing the featured listing upgrade as this will give you auction more visibility.
