Need a domain and hosting?

Anyone can recommend me a place to buy domains (only need one domain) and some cheap web hosting that's worthwhile?
I've seen NetFirms and I'm interested as they have superb features and the $8.95/month pack has 2 free domains.

Can anyone on this lovely forum let me know of a place to buy what I need.

i've never used netfirms, but what you just said sounds like a good deal.

i like to register my domains with namecheap. not only because i like all my domains in the one place, but i've never had a problem with them, and their support is good. they're very quick when it comes to assisting with any problems (at least for me).

i've also never had a problem with hostgator (for hosting), and their support is great too... they've helped me to fix things in a couple of minutes.

edit: just want to add in - stay away from godaddy!!!
 
You can buy domain from godaddy as you can get there for $1 and for hosting you can PM me...:)

Why stay away from GoDaddy? The pro user said go buy from GD? What's your input?

NameCheap isn't really that nice compared to others. Could someone go check the NameFirms offer for 2 free domains for me? To see if it's legit or if I'm just dreaming..

do a search on here for godaddy and you'll see why... i just saw a negative post on them here today...

have a look and you'll understand. they're dodgy.

Just did a search and it was mostly coupon codes and praise? I don't see why.
Why don't you just explain to me your experience because I searched "godaddy" in the search tool and nothing bad came up.

STILL NEED IDEAS ON WHERE TO GET DOMAIN AND HOSTING.

That looks REALLY good. But I've never heard of it, so I don't know if I can trust it. I might just use it because it's only $4.95 a month for Unlimited GB Space and Unlimited MySQL (Cheaper than GoDaddy's LOWEST plan and you get more). AND you get a free domain.

It seems almost too good to be true. Can you insure me it's not? Thanks, bro very interested.
Still open to any other good deals.

Web hosting : Hostgator or Webhostinghub.com

Put some more $ and go for the above companies blindly, eventually you will crave for quality.
 
u must look at bluehost they provide very fine hosting features with affordable prices..one of the best i have used

Uhh, I'd like to buy from internetbs but I'm not sure if I should buy a domain there because webshotinghub gives a free domain with hosting?
Let me know what you think.

Have a look in my signature for hosting. You can go direct to internet.bs for domains, though.
 
You should use hostwinds, they host BHW. I use it myself and they are great.
 
I'm about ready to set up 5 or 6 mns, will i be ok with an unlimited package or would 200gb bandwidth and 2gb be plenty
