Anyone else found a super reliable dedicated server? I used alias server and I hadn't had a problem until now but its been 3 days down and support is not doing shit!

I remember a thread by PHPbuilt and he was having problems too. So instead of sitting around twittling my thumbs, I decided to go on the search again.

Anyone else have any suggestions? Mostly using for scrapebox.

Please no sales! I already know of scrapeboxservers, hostamous, etc.. I am looking for something else. Reliability and support is a must!

Try mydediservers.com, they re-sell kimsufi dedi's at a decent price. Their support is amazing too.
 
BTW where is alias server support? my VPS also down and i asked him to reboot and fix it. he said give me details i sent details and then vanished ?
 
Have you thought about trying HostWinds? Their support is A+, if you contact Peter I'm sure he could give you a reasonable quote on one.

Yep. Same here. Don't deal with it. Id would just cancel, try and get your last months money back and move on.

I already use 2 VPS from them one on windows and one on linux, the have a good support and I'm one of the worst customer that you can get. For the smallest problem I first submit a ticket and the look for a solution. And the up time is great, my VPS was up 24/7 for almost a year, and they rely got low prices.

I reported that guy also... hate dickheads like that!

I can recommend ovh for a dedi. They're fast, but unmanaged. Really well priced, and their data centres are in France.

I've also heard great things about amerinoc for dedis, alot of guys running tube sites use their servers, their kind of offshore I think also.

Hostwinds were'nt able to help me out when I needed, but I'm sure Peter might chime in here.. he's good for doing custom qoutes, you might have better luck than me.

You mean the host where BHW is hosted....that's down on average, hmm, let's say, 50 times per day?
 
I have a few VPS's with xsserver. I had a dedi but went to multiple VPS's instead.
 
Yes, I have been using SB and XRumer, along with a ton of other tools, with Kimsufi/OVH for over 2 years with no issues whatsoever. The IP for my server is blocked by Akismet, seeds torrents and I've never had so much as a notice from them.

Also, as per the post above, it is incorrect. OVH is managed, Kimsufi is unmanaged, that explains the price difference between the two (along with connection speed, which used to be 1gbps for both KS and OVH.) If you are confident in running your own server (do you know how to install and manage Windows?) then Kimsufi is for you. If you spend a good chunk of time on the phone with tech support, OVH is where you want to go.

No I had a very nice dedi last year and found out the hard way ovh.ie (I know there is different tlds) are definitely unmanaged.

Please google this more and you'll see.. I had to make alot of stressful phone calls to them and the guys said to me many times 'well this is unmanaged you know... generally you get a developer to do this work for you.. if you want we can do this but it will costs you money. There's a reason we're this cheap".

Heard the above or similar a few times. Even go look at their forums.
 
I only have a VPS from BermanHosting but their support is second to none and my tickets are responded to in less than 2 hours. Am not sure about their Dedi's but customer support is just as important as the product, if not more...
 
Strange.. I have a dedi with alias and have had no problems. I was going to get a second dedi to run some other things, but now I'm not so sure. Let's hope they turn things around.

lol exctly what I was going to say.
No offense to them, but they aren't exactly bringing in the customers by letting it be known they are hosting BHW.

How does this relate to our hosting??

There are some things that our outside of our control, like random DDOS attacks
