you could create an auction on ebay and sell your finger or something. Just make up some extreme sob story and get it on the front page. I saw a guy make $3000 for school in under 2 weeks selling locks of his hair. Your copy writing just needs to be amazing.

the concept and idea are pretty solid, so I am also pretty sure that the desperate person who actually implements this (and succeeds with it!), will be much more grateful than you are implying here ...

you can't do affiliate work or cpa because of the NET-30 or NET-15 payments. You need to do something where they pay you via paypal.
Go dig up some old e-books, rewrite them into 1 big overhyped e-book and sell it at WF.
Just make sure when you sell it that you make is sound very noob friendly, and lie about earnings. The people at WF will believe anything if put positive thinking vibe into your sales page.
If you can write the ebook in 24 hours, create the sales page in 24 hours, 48 hours of miscellaneous things, you will have around 10 days to collect money in your paypal account (could be around 3k if done right). Then you need about 24 hours to withdraw the money from paypal to your bank account.

Must be Some Family Issue Only then A guy could be so desperate to get money no matter how it comes.
That would would probably only work if he also provides all personal info (name, address, phone etc) so that people can verify that he actually is who he claims to be be. Otherwise, even a "real story" would look like usual internet scam.
