Email verification have different meanings, you can verify email for its syntax or structure. You can verify your email by confirmation links. You can verify whether email is valid or not. I think you should give proper description.

Why would I need someone to verify an email for its syntax? There are tons of perl modules for it. To know whether and email address is valid or not, you need to connect to the domain.

I say, no sending, meaning that an SMTP connection need to be opened to the mailserver.

But you are right. This is more apt for WTB section, I will post there since I need the service whether a freelancer or not.
