I need approximately 150 icons, half are for professions, the other half are for topics.

I can provide samples of what I want each image to look like to take the guess work out of it, just need someone to do them up in a nice consistent format. There will be a colour coding for professions and a separate one for topics. Images will be transparent .png.

My budget is around $50, but that's negotiable, never had to get images done before.

Just pm me, but much better to Skype: rduchnik

    Thanks

$50 doesn't come anywhere near the actual price if you want professional level work.

Icons are like any other kind of illustration: unless you just want stock art -- in which case you don't really need my help -- I have to create a unique design for each and every icon. Just because an icon is small doesn't mean that it takes less time to create.

You said that half are for professions...can you imagine how long it would take if you hire someone and tell them, "come up with an icon for these professions that is immediately decipherable and discernible from one another..and oh, here's your $50." You're talking about hours and hours of work here. A full icon set like this is a major job. It isn't even really worth it for someone in India for the price you're offering. Not if they're actually going to take the time to do the job right, anyway.

If you just want standard, run of the mill icons, you might try a stock art website, and that might cost you $50.
