I adapted last time in 2006 when iPhone came out, it’s utter crap…and pains the soul to have to design not above the fold, flat vector, etc. It’s not fun after they killed flash. But, it’s okay, every industry is dead; anyways.

That is not adapting, and this whole stance that we should adapt so the rich can get richer needs to get killed. I am tired of hearing that. It’s all false, fabricated fake agenda.

Adapt for what? 4k? Worse systems? Worse phones? Computers with 1600w psus? Basketball with no hand checking? Music production with 1-4ms of latency? Subscriptions? Movie production where they outsource sequels to China or writing to ai? Programming with 1000 languages and APIs all Frankenstein’d? Linux with 1000 distorts and windows still 30GB default install? So we have to have the app for grocery store discount? So we can’t make it without paying for a personal chef and shopper because it takes too long to open a bottle of water or go shopping now days? So that, meta and apple and google will be able to profit again with Apple, Google or meta glass? So they can profit in literally everything including email at $3-$6/mo now days all while getting away with murder and conflicting with the USPS ; one reason why they are broke. It’s a system built to spread information and no one uses it because you can text/email for free. But if you do, it gets moderated and censored to perpetual their rich movements. Just like Sinclair media and any mainstream media channel. It’s criminal and should be to advocate to promote them. No thanks. That is so crap people are still advocating to adapt. That is not okay and that is not adapting. What are we adapting for if everything is considerably worse compared to 2005/6? That is not adapting. That is changing. Stop spreading misleading information and making people suffer in the name of big industry profit. It’s wrong.

Adapting and the connotation it’s used in, is supposed to be an evolutionary process over 1000s of years. It’s not supposed to be forced so big greedy rich people can get richer while our planet is over populated and suffering.

Find a place with 2 or 3 caves. Live in 1 cave and draw cave paintings expressing your day to day life that the public can access ... Without smartphones or tech. They must see it in person.

Then eventually sell out, distribute through wall mart and make millions. But what hell of a ride it was while it lasted.

But every industry is ruined, not just “Frontend Design”. I can list and name every industry that has changed in the name of GDP/control/profit. It sucks. The artist has no place in today’s world. It sucks.

Full stack and mass APIs/languages were only created for ai and these damn phones/automation.

They literally serve no purpose.

MySpace and OG Facebook is literally better, than modern FB/Myspace. 2001-2005 era video games; better. Uber is garbage and a waste of resources. All these apps and video games are F tier hunks of garbage compared to 2001-2005 tech! God, I hate this planet! What timeline am I in? Reddit is trash, YT is trash, everything is trash trash trash!

i understand where you coming from my brother, but as a man in the world you have the responsability with yourself of seeing the things for what they are, not for what you would like them to be.

the fundamental state of the world and the nature remains the same since the beggining of life, you either evolve and adapt or you get erased from the server. GET IT TOGETHER!

Define what you really want or need. You making a rant because you short on money? There's plenny of ways to make cash today, specially if you know how to move on the internet And, it ssounds like you do know how to.

If is an spiritual issue, that's a whole different behemot for you to overcome my brother, but you do have options.
Crying might make you "feel better" at the moment, but the problems would be just there where you leave them waiting for you to done dropping those tears down. Work, improve, keep moving.

We got one chance at life, don't waste it on crying for the issues. Fight to find the solutions.

I agree with this. Just going to offer web design and customer service for those who rather deal with real people face to face.

Might last 2-3 years, and longer until they have robots.

Might learn game programming instead. Retail WoW is a dead game, but the only MMO for 20 years. How? Retail WoW is so awful. I’ve heard modern game companies even struggle to make their own engines and tools. WoW is one of the pieces left from the old world that has potential to be so great; but it’s in shambles and 1000 layers in the name of profits.

I’ll be okay, I’ll make it through. Maybe I’ll do real estate and just work a 9-5 commission real estate gig. Idk.

man.. If you really have money and knowledge like that, make a couple streaming farms, reach to the point of 30 - 50k a month and you'll be fine. You can focus in doing the thigns that you really like at that point.

I understand that capitalism has always been a source of inequality, exploitation, market instability, environmental damage, and social alienation. It’s been that way even in 2005–2006, and long before that. I get why you loved 2005 and wanted to stay there forever, your skills were relevant back then. You felt important. You felt like the best because you were one of the few who excelled in things like Flash, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, ColdFusion, Photoshop, Sketch, Figma, VS Code, WordPress,whatever your toolbox was at the time. But here’s the problem: you didn’t evolve. You didn’t upgrade your skills. Time moved on, and now you’re bitter. You refuse to admit that part of your current failure is your own doing. I understand your frustration. I get that you feel useless now, no longer the skilled magician you once were. But the truth is, you're not that person anymore, you're just a washed-up Flash expert clinging to a dead era. Any person who is an expert in things that are no longer relevant naturally feels bitter.

This isn’t true. When flash and things died.
I moved onto Figma and such. I upgraded my skills. The problem is; it was oppression and my true soul wasn’t speaking through me for the last 20 years.

I also suffered injuries and medications, where I no longer have creativity to do my craft anyways. So I guess AI is good, just dunno, still struggling with knowing what to do.

Now figma will probably be dying and such; in the name of ai sites. We have 2-3 years; max.

I mean Kanye still does great on the ASR-10. Some older workflows are just faster and you lose less expression than you did from the old workflows.

I'm a student in art school, so I can relate to how you feel. AI is soulless and boring.

With that being said, I don't really see how AI is negatively affecting SEO and marketing. The latter isn't art.

You complain a lot, but there are good reasons to be grateful. If you dislike something, what are you doing to change it? Even small efforts can make a difference.
