I have a question about inventory. Is there any need to keep inventory when my store have more than 50 orders per day?

Before we were acquired, our store had over 1000 orders a day and we always kept inventory in the USA for fast fulfillment.

I'm not an expert with dropshipping specifically but it would depend on where your target market is and what the delivery times are, etc.

Yes. Especially if you plan to sell this business in the future, then you can prove that you already made shit load of money from it.

1. No one wants to buy a non-profitable business.

2. It helps you keep track of long-term performance of the business.

3. Some payment processors only accept profitable business and they will require earnings proof. My experience

4. It's the big guys business thing to do.

5. I would say it makes sense to do it even from day one of your business.

6. Organized business.

7. Cash flow readability. Corporate sense.

Wow, great, but what do you mean keep inventory? Dropshipping features running an online store with no inventory, isn’t it? You needn’t to buy any inventory or rent a warehouse to keep it.

Yes, but with inventory, I can better control the shipping time, as well as choose to work with reliable shipping companies.

I don’t believe it is necessary to keep inventory. Once you did, the cost will greatly increase, then you have to set higher product prices, resulting in less orders maybe. You’d better to work with a reliable dropshipping company than carry inventory. That’s my opinion.

There’re many dropshipping companies with fast shipping, such as eprolo.com. Not only shipping, they provide a series of services covering all your dropshipping.
