Hey guys basically I'm a huge nba fan, I'm always listening to NBA news doesn't matter either I'm working or playing video games. I'm always debating with people online writing decent short content on the comment section usually gets a ton of likes I do this just out of my hobby.

my question is how can I turn this hobby or niche into a money making method.
I just need a direction

Thanks

NBA news site, EASY, about monetization best is Adsense, products

Or an NBA analysys blog, that you'd turn into betting prediction/advices. Then you could be making some good money with gambling affiliate offers.

It's easy to write commentary on social media, it is a lot harder to be motivated to write on a blog. I write 5,000+ words a day on social media, I am sure I write thousands of words a day on blackhatworld, but getting the motivation to write the same amount on my own websites is difficult. One of the key issues is picking out topics that people are interested in, and getting those articles up in a timely manner.

So, right now of course Kawhi Leonard is a hot topic, but can you come up with 600+ words of entertaining or insightful writing about him? What you would do is put your main blog URL in your Twitter handle, for example, then pin whatever post is most popular, and when you see a comment get lots of like, you have to drop your article and say "Help me out check out my blog and give it a retweet and follow me for more!" That kind of stuff. You are unlikely to make money short term. It's a long term investment. But you never know when some big name will pick up your post and retweet it, or someone will be really impressed with something you had to say and link to it from their website.

It's not easy.

Go through social media and look at the most popular people and see what they are doing.

9 out of 10 people are not making money directly off of social media commentary at all, they just do it for fun.

That's the problem. So many people are doing the same thing for free. Then you have to compete with people who are already involved in the industry professionally like writers/journalists and commentators.
