@nature banned?

I doubt it was just banned because copyright issues, it has to be something else. Because if that was true we would see all the big pages disappearing.

that's what I am thinking as well, it has to be something a lot worse..

A friend of mine had his 2m+ fashion account banned due to too many advertisements/shoutouts. He would upload them and delete them after 10mins, it may be a reason due to this.

haha, interesting, so anyone could do this and leave no visible trace for visitors, though I guess IG keeps logs so if they really want to see what an account was doing it can't be that hard.

$150 is enough to run 20 accounts on instagress for a month. if each account gives you 20 followers a day..thats 400 a day...thats 12k a month. You can do at least 100 @main comments a day with each account...

Do the sums it's quite simple. This is all assuming you have 20 accounts ready to go that's all you need.

interesting method... so maybe he was caught with something like this a lot of other "slave" accounts got hit as well just nobody noticed them..

Great feedback. Probably going to change my Instagram strategies a bit now. No point in building a massive, cornerstone account if it can easily be lost for reasons beyond my control. Sure it's profitable, and still not a bad idea, but relying on a few accounts alone probably isn't the safest idea.

This is my method that i use i wasnt suggesting that he did this..but anyway.. None of my slave accounts have gotten disabled..just captcha..like 100 times each across the year...

My main never has issues so i gain 10k a month at least. Almost have 130k on my personal account..that's more than some popular celebrities here in Australia so you can imagine how my friends react to it lol

Can you explain in more details why he got banned?
Just because of posting pictures from other people?

So it was copyright? nothing to do with the fact that he buys and sells accounts all the time and tries to pay people to hack other users...

I doubt it. If it really was copyright, he wouldn't have gotten ban on other accounts he owns.

My personal opinion is that this guy is very shady, he has hacked other users and bought/sold accounts as well, which is against the terms of Instagram.

I think it's a combo of all the above. Instagram might just be tired of their shit. I've got a friend who's gotten his accounts happened weeks ago in a similar manner. He wasn't scamming people but all the other stuff like buying/trading accounts, copywrite, etc is true.

So true.

Instagram is hunting all the big accounts that are violating something even if its minor to protect them self from future lawsuits. No one will make a fuzz for 3K account violating copyrights but accounts that are in the M range are closely watched for violations by IG.
So true Wizard04, but also, sometimes they are like hawks on small accounts...

all this shit about banning and suspending accounts make me feel that social media isn't safe for a long term business anymore!

what do you think is the most safe for a long term business?

Don't put all your eggs in one basket. Diversify and you will be fine. Better to have 10 accounts with 20k each than one account with 200k bc if the one account is banned where are you left? floating up S&^t creek without a paddle.
