I put in the max bid on couple of domains in Namesilo auctions, and apparently they'll email me if I win the domains. How long is this likely to take? I'm guessing the only reason I might not get them is if the owner chooses to renew them instead?

The auction needs to end. The auction page will say how much is the remaining time in the auction

Yeah, except that their marketplace terms and conditions say that "Bidding will be open until the earlier of (a) the domain no longer being available for auction, (b) the Max Bid price for the domain being bid, or (c) the auction reaching its end date."

So I still have to wait for the auction to end even though bidding should now be closed?

No.. Bidding is closed. Auction is still open. The reason for this is that Namesilo starts auctions much before the domain actually deletes. So to ensure that the domain can actually be sold, they have to wait till the domain is in pending delete. So they have to wait for the auction to be over to have a reasonable assurance that the domain can actually be sold!
