I got the same error today.

Cant find any working godaddy renewal codes so i transferred to Namesilo.
Got some $1 discount codes for Namesilo domain registration or transfer.

i recently started using them too after someone else on here recommended them, so far so good and they do have the best prices, even compared to namecheap who i am moving a lot of domains away from (they do not include free whois after the 1st year - be careful with that sneaky gotcha there!).

namesilo coupons seem to be linked to the same promotion, so once u use one, all the other $1 coupons will say the same thing that they are already used (at least thats what happened to me), still, without the $1 saving they are good priced with included free for life whois privacy.

some other $1 off coupons (i think they are all linked to the same promotion, but try more anyway)

I happen to agree with you on that. Namesilo does offer domains for a cheap price and they also give you discounts on bulk purchases and when you add into the mix that they give you free protection, as well as a host of other free options that GD would normally nickle and dime you to death for, the choice is a no brainer. I have bought domains at both and I now buy solely at Namesilo. Namesilo allows you to keep 100% of monies raised from parked domains whereas GD allows you to take 80% I believe, which is mighty nice of them lol. Any discounts you may get with GD for domain names is only applicable for the first year, if you wish to purchase the domain name for longer than one year, the price goes up to whatever the prevailing rate is there.
