I saw that earlier, they are owned by Register group and own LCN, who I use for some UK domains and they're reliable.

We are among the first companies in Europe in the Domain & Hosting sector and we are present in Italy with Register.it, Sfera, Etinet and Dominiando, in Spain with Nominalia , in the United Kingdom through Namesco , SimplyHosting , Tagadab and LCN , in Ireland through Register365 , LetsHost and Hosting Ireland, in Portugal with Amen.pt , Dominios.pt and Iberweb, in France and the Netherlands through the Amen Group .

Just grabbed one. Thanks OP.

Yup, I got one from India. Working fine.

Because I don't want to fill in my personal credit card details on a website I don't trust lol

On a website, you don't trust? Seriously?

These are part of a huge international company, not some kid sitting in their bedroom.

Got a bad experience with them.

- When you register domain, it is not instant. It will take around 1 day for them to finalize. They still in 2G era lol.

- They will delete domain automatically and did not give any reason. And no domain was not trademarked or received any copyright notice.

Nice, time to pick one of those expired I had in the doubt ;)

If they are a part of "huge" company, why does registration is not instant like Namecheap, namesilo, porkbun and similar? Last time around 2020 it took them close to 1 day to register the domain after payment. Upon a bit of searching, it is their policy lmao.

" LMAO " ??? So you tell me something that happened to you 2 years ago. Why not get the facts straight, plus I presume you are not UK based either?

Changes implemented by Nominet, the UK Registry, now require registrant information to be validated for all registered domains. Unfortunately we have been unable to automatically validate the following registrant details against available public data sources: Legal Registrant Name and/or Address.

Please note that the owner or legal registrant of a domain name must be a legal entity. These guides will help you comply with Data Quality standards:

If the domain name is registered to:

An Individual: enter the full name as it would appear on a credit card, passport or the UK electoral roll.
A Business: enter the full legal trading name of the business. Limited and PLC companies can be verified against official company databases such as Companies House in the UK.
An Unregistered Business or Sole Trader: enter the name of an authorised individual or insert an individual's full name followed by t/a and then your Company Name.

Oh yeah that's a really dumb way to look at it - companies find ways to take your money all the time. Why'd they go through the effort of giving away free domains if there was no gain from it.

It's stupid. You're on my block as well, don't bother me again

I did enter full name as appeared on my card. They did validate and assigned the domain. But it was deleted after a couple of months. I was not using the domain so I did not have any real issue but if it was one of my ongoing sites, then it would have an issue.

Regarding delay in registering domains, there was a dropped domain I tried I registered with domain it showed available so I purchased but it was gone. I believe it was due to time frame.

I have no intention to bad mouth any company but just telling my experience.
