I bought a domain with namecheap,but my hosting is at godaddy. How do I setup the site to be hosted at godaddy? I can't find where to change the A-record. The area where it is on the video tutorial isn't available for me.

Edit: go to domain name server setup and enter dodaddy's dns

On your Namecheap account go to Manage Domains.
Click on the domain you want to setup
On left column under General click on Transfer DNS to Webhost.
Then enter your nameservers provided by Godaddy

I always thought I had to change both the name servers and a-record of my hosting plan. So it will just take up to 24 hours to be able to use?

put godaddy dns name server on namecheap domain management

I finally was able to get it setup. But I had to use namecheap's dns service and change the A-record of to the godaddy one.

Select the domain in your namecheap account by clicking it, on the next page select "Transfer DNS to web host" & enter the Godaddy's name servers they provided you.
